Founded in the United Kingdom in the 1990s, Tackle-Import sought to do something that was not being done in the private sector at the time: establish hospitals with extensive clinical infrastructure capable of providing the most complex care that was otherwise not routinely available outside of the NHS.

Since Tackle-Import UK first opened its doors in 1995, we have grown into a world-class network of more than 30 clinics in London and Manchester, each equipped with the most up-to-date diagnostic and treatment technology and infrastructure.
Earlier this year, we established additional outpatient and diagnostics centres on the third and fourth floors of The Shard, after the opening of local satellite centres in Chiswick, Elstree, Marylebone, and Chelsea earlier this year.
In conjunction with Guys & St Thomas’ Hospital, a bigger private patient’s facility, Private Care at Guy’s, has now opened on the top floor of Guy’s Cancer Centre on the top level of the building. Our most recent initiative will be the launch of The Harborne Hospital in Birmingham in 2023, which will be a collaboration with the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
